Anyone who has ever tasted traditionally baked wood-fired bread knows: This is what real bread tastes like. A crispy crust on the outside and the unmistakable aroma of wood-fired bread are a culinary delight.
Our wood-fired bread is baked the old-fashioned way, in a wood-fired oven, with plenty of time, care, and love for the craft.
The bread is distinguished by its unique flavor; the loaves and braided loaves are made from natural, regional ingredients, entirely without additives, including flour milled in our own mill. The dough is allowed to rest for a long time to allow its full flavor to develop. The loaf is then formed and baked in a hot wood-fired oven, crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside.
Ideal for those who appreciate quality and genuine enjoyment.Starting Friday afternoon, July 18, you can purchase the wood-fired bread or the Sunday braided loaf directly from the museum.
