At the beginning of the First World War, the Lower Rohr Mill was close to falling apart. The owners at the time, the farmers' milling community of the Rohr farms, restored the mill and put it back into operation during the war years.
Since the 1980s, the mill has been renovated in stages and has been operational again since 1997.
